This course is taught via a live online classroom over 2 sessions, each of 4 hours' duration. In this course, we will survey and explore the most relevant and widely used ESG reporting frameworks: where they originated, what their intentions are, how they relate to one another, and how to work with them. We will pay special attention to the ‘S’ for social component of ESG reporting frameworks. Our focus will be on the GRI, SASB, TCFD and World Bank ESG diligence and reporting frameworks. We will discuss the principle of materiality and practice applying these principles.
We will explore case studies, workshop concepts, and ensure participants walk away with practical assets to use in their own ESG reporting and in the vetting of ESG frameworks for their own use.
