IASeminars Africa – Courses now available in 5 different African countries

Over the last few years, IASeminars is proud to have welcomed hundreds of participants from more than 30 different African countries to our events held around the world (and online) on topics including IFRS, IPSAS, anti-fraud, corporate governance, oil & gas accounting etc.

We are now making ambitious plans to deliver more professional training across Africa, and have scheduled 2015 courses in 5 different countries as follows:

  • Accra, Ghana
  • Lagos, Nigeria
  • Cape Town, South Africa
  • Zanzibar, Tanzania
  • Mombasa, Kenya

As part of this pan-Africa initiative, IASeminars has also signed a number of important collaboration agreements with organisations including:

  • The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants
  • Association of National Accountants of Nigeria
  • The Institute Of Chartered Accountants (Ghana)
  • EY (Ghana)

Speaking about his organisation's new collaboration with IASeminars, Mr Fred Moore, CEO of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana), stated: "ICAG is pleased to work with IASeminars on this important project. There is a growing demand in Ghana and across the wider African region for high-quality IFRS and IPSAS training, and this new collaboration will help provide the necessary technical skills at all levels, and offer the market a broader choice of educational products and providers. IASeminars is known around the world as a specialist in IFRS and IPSAS training, and ICAG is pleased to make this important service available to ICAG members and others."

Ferdinand Gunn, Country Managing Partner of EY Ghana, stated that "this collaboration between a major accounting firm and an international financial training company will provide a valuable opportunity for Ghanaian professionals to acquire or refresh their skills and knowledge".

  • Combating Corruption in Government Procurement, Welfare and Tax Programs (2 days)
  • Detecting and Investigating Public Sector Accounting Frauds (3 days)
