The IASeminars Team
The IASeminars management team consists of the Board of Directors and our Department Managers who work together to deliver our aim of a superior training experience and excellent service for our clients.
Deborah Fyfe is our Managing Director and is responsible for leading the IASeminars team to deliver our vision of providing great client focused training and excellent customer service. She has responsibility for the strategic direction of the business and and is a member of the Operating Committee of the Senya Education Group to which IASeminars belongs.
In addition Deborah has a special interest in our bespoke In-House Training service, overseeing our delivery of onsite events which take place all over the world on topics such as IFRS, US GAAP and IPSAS. Deborah and the IASeminars team serve our client base of over 18,000 people from some 150 countries, and ensure successful delivery of hundreds of financial training events each year.
Helen Gallon is our Chief Customer Officer whose primary focus is IASeminars’ client satisfaction.
From serving our existing clients to participating in our new business efforts, if it involves a customer, then Helen is interested!
Her role includes operational responsibility for IASeminars’ customer experiences – from the website, through registration and pre-event communications, to the event itself. Thereafter Helen and her team maintain regular contact with our global client base to ensure that we meet their future training needs wherever possible.
Helen is a key liaison between our clients and the event scheduling team at IASeminars, thus ensuring that our course calendar reflects client demand.
Bill Kemp is our Senior Instructor and Technical Adviser, specialising in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) and the comparison of such standards with UK, US and Canadian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). As well as presenting courses for IASeminars, Bill is also responsible for the quality and content of much of our course materials. He is a UK chartered accountant, and was educated at the Edinburgh Academy and at Oxford University.
Anita Rodenburg is our Finance and Administration Manager, with responsibility for all key financial areas of the business. Anita also oversees the logistical details of our courses, ensuring that each event runs smoothly.
Charles Duncan, BSc, PhD is Director of Online Learning at IASeminars. He has over 30 years of experience in e-learning management, both as an academic and also as the founder and CEO of an e-learning business. His primary role at IASeminars is to drive innovation in the way that we offer online learning, and to manage our growth in that area.
As well as ensuring that IASeminars online learning products are technologically advanced, Charles and others in his team are also committed to making the online learning experience as interesting and engaging as possible, and ensuring that it meets the needs of our clients.
Zsuzsi MacPherson is our Project Manager, responsible for the provision of management and support to areas of Marketing, Partner Management and Accreditation compliance. She also manages short-term projects on an ad hoc basis.
Donna Beck is our Customer Services and Events Supervisor. In her role, she organises the venues for our worldwide events. As we and our clients have very high expectations of our venues, Donna plays an important role to select the correct meeting facility. Donna also handles customer training enquires and aftersales care.
