  Richard Starkey is a South African Chartered Accountant, a Registered Auditor and a university lecturer. He is also the CEO of an IFRS technical consulting and training firm in South Africa with a variety of governmental, public and private company clients. Prior to specialising in IFRS, Richard worked as a corporate finance advisor and private equity analyst, and as an auditor for RSM Betty and Dickson (JHB). He has presented professional training courses to qualified accounting professionals around the world, as well as lecturing to undergraduate and postgraduate accounting students. Richard holds a Masters Degree in Accounting Science, and uses an interactive approach in his presentations.
