Ben Higgin is a Director with PwC Hong Kong, providing advice to major corporations and banks on financial reporting requirements related to complex transactions, particularly those involving financial instruments. Ben is a UK Chartered Accountant with over 10 years of experience, and he is a technical specialist in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Prior to joining PwC in Hong Kong, he worked in the PwC London technical advisory team. He was also Accountancy Advisor to the UK Department of Trade and Industry. Ben relocated to PwC Hong Kong in July 2007, where he is focused on servicing clients in Hong Kong and China. Ben teaches Course 1210: IFRS and US GAAP Accounting for Derivatives and Hedging.
