Allen Ho is a partner in the Financial Risk Management group of the Advisory Services practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Toronto. He specializes in providing accounting and auditing services under IFRS, Canadian and US accounting principles. Allen has extensive experience in the financial services industry, having worked with all Schedule I banks in Canada and other financial institutions in Canada and the US. His focus is on providing accounting consulting services on complex accounting standards, especially financial instruments and hedging, variable interest entities, securitizations and other structured transactions under Canadian, US and International generally accepted accounting principles. Allen teaches 1208 - IFRS Accounting for Derivatives and Hedging.

Nicole Hensley is a Director in the PricewaterhouseCoopers Capital Markets Group based in Toronto, Canada, where she specializes in the accounting conversions of companies to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and US GAAP. Nicole has more than 12 years of experience working with financial institutions, and her areas of expertise include leading large conversion projects, advising on accounting policy implementation, technical project management and data gap identification for reporting requirements. Nicole has had the opportunity to work on many large, global accounting conversions with companies in Canada, Bermuda, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Australia, the United States, Japan, France, Poland, Hong Kong, Switzerland, New Zealand and South Korea. Nicole co-teaches Course 1801 - IFRS for the Insurance Industry and Course 1810 - IASB Project on Insurance Contracts - Phase II.

Rebecca Vass is a Director in the PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP Advisory Services practice in Toronto, where she specializes in providing advisory services on the application of accounting principles under IFRS, Canadian and U.S. GAAP. In particular, Rebecca’s work focuses on identifying GAAP differences and on the application of complex accounting standards. Prior to joining the Toronto office, Rebecca worked for nine years in the Audit and Assurance practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in the UK, where she assisted a number of her UK clients with their IFRS conversion process. Rebecca has a wide range of experience working with multinational companies in industry sectors including retail and automotive. Rebecca co-teaches Course 1311 - IIFRS and US GAAP Revenue Recognition and Course 1550 - IFRS Transition for Canadian Corporations.
