In-Company (On-Site) Training

In-Company (On-Site) Training

IASeminars is the world’s leading specialist provider of training courses on international financial reporting topics (IFRS, US GAAP, Comparative GAAP).

As well as our regular public courses around the world, we also provide in-company training courses delivered at a time and place of your choice. Such courses can be held on-site in your offices or at any other location worldwide - see details of our destination training service.

Recent in-company training locations have included Athens, Dhahran, London, Manila & New York. Recent in-company training clients have included Boeing, NASDAQ, PetroChina and the European Space Agency.

All of our standard courses – covering more than 100 different topics – can be delivered in-house, and customised where necessary to suit your organisation’s specific financial training requirements. Our expert instructors will work with you to plan and design the optimal course. We are proud to state that many of our in-company training clients have been very satisfied with our services, and invite us back every year - feel free to contact us for a personal reference.

The benefits of an in-company training course

  • The agenda can be customised to the needs of your organisation
  • The course can be held at a time and place of your choosing
  • The cost is not affected by the number of people on the course
  • The instructor will utilise relevant real-world examples, such as your financial statements and those of your peer group
  • Travel and accommodation costs can be minimised
  • Participants spend less time away from the office
  • Sensitive issues can be discussed in confidentiality
  • Guest appearances can be incorporated (e.g. from management or auditors)
  • Clients receive a post-course analysis and summary of participant feedback

The cost of an in-company training course

In-company training can be cost-effective for as few as 5 participants. IASeminars places no limit on the number of participants, although our experience is that the optimal class size is generally 10-15 people.

IASeminars charges a daily rate of USD 7000 / GBP 3500 / EUR 4400 for one of our expert instructors to deliver an in-house version of any of our standard public courses, or a selection thereof. Discounts may apply for 3 or more days of training booked at the same time. The client is also responsible for all training venue and documentation costs, plus the instructor's travel and accommodation.

Additional charges may apply for customised courses, extensive preparation of materials and significant time spent on planning and travel. These additional charges are always discussed and agreed in advance.

Half of the estimated total fees - plus all of the estimated total expenses - are payable upon acceptance of the engagement, with the balance due at the conclusion of the training. This is to cover IASeminars time spent on planning and preparation, the cost of any travel arrangements, our commitment to the agreed dates (perhaps at the expense of other work), and the advance release of course material for review and copying.

Comments from past clients

"We were delighted with the training that you provided for us and with the trainer. The course was very well structured in that it took each subject in bite sized pieces and gave a very clear understanding of how this worked. In addition, each part was illustrated with examples from our own recently published financial statements which really brought it alive for the students. We were able to tailor the course also to cover the areas which were important to us.”

“We operate in a very high pressure environment with many deadlines and there was much reluctance to give up two precious days to spend on this training. However, at the end of this, every single participant that I collected feedback from said it had been a very worthwhile experience."
