IPSAS (Accruals Basis) - Essentials (online)
This course consists of 10 modules and is scheduled to run over 5 weeks. The course is led by an instructor who provides support both through a discussion forum and optional weekly live webinar sessions.
Once the five-week period of instructor support and weekly webinars has passed, you will continue to have access to the 10 modules to enable you to complete them at your own pace. You will have up to a year, if necessary, to pass the exams on each module and gain your certificates.
The course provides an overview of the most important requirements for preparing financial statements and disclosures under accrual based IPSAS. The program has been fully updated to follow the 2016 IPSAS Handbook and incorporates the latest standards issued in 2016.
The IPSAS accounting and disclosure requirements are explained in clear, simple language and illustrated with model financial statements and real-world examples. Application of the various standards is illustrated through the use of short case studies.

This is an online instructor-led course. It consists of 10 modules and you can take these in any order you like. Each module takes around 1-3 hours to complete and includes interactive lessons, a case study, practice and final exams. On passing the final exam you, will be awarded a CPE certificate. Once all 10 modules have been completed you will also be awarded an IPSAS Essentials Certificate.
The course instructor is available for discussion in the forum at any time but is also available for a weekly live video conference question and answer session.
All course content may be accessed through any device: desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone so you can learn whenever and wherever you wish.

He has delivered many public and in-house training courses around the world to a diverse audience from sectors including government and non-profit, financial services, retail, real estate, oil & gas, telecoms, and IT. An experienced educator, he was formerly Managing Director of a major London financial training company. Bill's work also includes training and consulting on financial statement analysis and business valuation, and he teaches on the International Accounting MSc programme of the London School of Economics. He is a UK chartered accountant, and was educated at the Edinburgh Academy and at Oxford University.
